Just a few of him and his family…

I had the privilege of meeting and photographing Kathy, a musician and writer.

Kathy tells me…

“I love the adventures of life, and embrace everyday…greatly anticipating what each new horizon will bring! With great expectancy and hope, I long to fulfill God’s plan for my life. I thank God daily that He has pulled me out of a past trashed and littered with compromise, and set my feet firmly on the Rock of His Word.”

Her heart and vision for the book she is currently working on?!! To share some of the hurts and disappointments she’s endured. To share how God’s Word has given her a new lease on life, equipping her with the courage needed to pull down strongholds and strength to overcome adversities.

Kathy tells me she is passionate. Passionate about helping people discover the truth. With her husband and four daughters, ages 4-10, she travels and sings with the band “Breakthrough.” They perform at many functions and love the thrill of driving into new towns and meeting and touching the lives of many wonderful people.

Quite simply, she has a message to share…God’s redeeming love for all.

These boys are all about hunting and trapping in the woods. They love baseball and would be happy to tell you about the Phillies!

Taken in the fall, these boys thought it would be pretty cool to be “online”!

I had the pleasure of meeting the J-family! I was contacted by Janet to see if we could do a “cool” photo shoot with her and her men! I jumped at the chance as this sounded like my kind of thing! The entire family is nothing short of wonderful! I was immediately drawn to their sincerity and realness! Just down to earth…happy to be alive, happy to be a family, happy to be!

To help you get to know them…

Jerry loves the water…in his boat with his boys and friends. Tubing, skiing, and wake boarding, he does it!

Janet is quite happy riding along on this boat! She loves the warm weather and tells me she is a wanna be writer!

Joshua is a full time student at West Chester University and is quite good at making short films!

Joshua is a freshman in college and is working towards being a Mechanical Engineer! He is making the most of this winter… taking off college and going to Colorado to work and snowboard!

Jonathan is a sophomore at Governor Mifflin highschool. Snowboarding and video games make him a happy man!

I was delighted to be given the opportunity to capture this family being just that…a family!

Weekends are meant for playing! So, weekends and being a family means gardening, entertaining, b-ball, and picnics by the pool with friends! Dinner out… Ichiban is the place! Colleen is a talented scrapbooker and a even more fabulous photographer! John coaches soccer and loves to mountain bike!

Isaac learns quickly and loves to read.

Natalie is all about “social”! Anybody that crosses her path…has got a new friend!

Colleen had several super locations picked out! I was thrilled, as I always love new locations! It was a pleasure…meet this family!

Trying to get together the perfect Christmas card…no easy task, is it?!! You would think one good shot wouldn’t be so difficult! In fact, getting that adorable smile to send to Grandma really should be quite simple, right?!! It isn’t so, it isn’t so! We all have tried it and know it isn’t so!

But this family had a wonderful plan and I think, pulled it off quite well!

Meet Camden and his family!

For Camden, Christmas is all about building gingerbread houses and waiting for the snow to fly which means sledding! And so essential…family! Christmas for this family is all about spending time with those near and dear!

Families! Mom and Dad and kids! I have been amazed as I have seen the strong, almost fierce affection and devotion we have for our offspring! It starts with great outfits! Come on, how can you not love those sooo adorable shoes that are just perfect! We know it is not really practical, but we just can’t help ourselves! And then it is their smile! We believe they have the most heartwarming smile ever! We know our kids inside and out! What she likes for dinner and how many goals he scored in the soccer game! Their little quirks, habits, how to get them to eat their vegetables, what they will love for Christmas, and the list goes on! In a way, our lives revolve around our kids! We want to give our kids the best life we can! What will they be when they grow up?!! How can I mold them into being a good person?!! Our heart swells with pride…these are my kids! Yes, I believe it is how it was intended to be! It’s all part of being a family!

This family has Owen!

Owen…lots of grins, lots of energy, and lots of boy! And he is all about Daddy coming home at the end of the day, peek a boo, and throwing things!!! Meet Owen and his family too!

Today, let me share a few of this beautiful family…

“Hi! I am Paris! I am three! I love being three! I have lots and lots of energy! Just ask my mom! And I love to jump! I am good at jumping! My mommy’s scrapbooking stuff is great! I like to play with it! Just ask my mom! I am Daddy’s girl! I am his fishing buddy! And I help him change the oil in the truck! I am a big girl after all! You know what else? I love icecream, peanut butter, and chocolate! My daddy likes icecream, peanut butter, and chocolate as much as me! Just ask my mom! She says we are two peas in a pod! Whatever!

I have a little sister! Her name is Asia! I give her lots of hugs and kisses! It’s my job to help take care of her!

Me, Asia, my mommy, and my daddy…we all like to go camping, and fishing and eat ice cream and watch football!

My mommy says that life is pretty grand with me and Asia and my daddy! Yup, I am three and I like ice cream and I think life is pretty grand too!

“Ava?!! She has lots of smiles, lots of laughter, and yes… lots of energy! She loves to explore the world around her! Peek-a-boo and wrestling with Dad is the best! Ava is happy, perky, and playful and we absolutely adore her!”

“Camping trips and relaxing weekends at the cabin are great! But what we do best is just hanging out at home, maybe watching a movie, and of course playing with Ava!”

Busyness and busyness…yup, this mother questions if the house will ever be clean again! Life is always happening! Family and farm…togetherness and finding time for a Settlers game!

Let me tell you a little about this family!

Jerrell is the big brother at 10 years old. If he isn’t holding a ball in his hand it is probably a bowl of ice cream! Gotta have ice cream year round! Kind hearted and everybody’s buddy! Jerrell has big plans for the future…a farmer and also a major league baseball player!

Heidi and energy go together! Right along with her sparkling brown eyes, she has a smile for anyone! If she is having a good day, it is all over her face! She plays the role of big sister quite well!

Maria just turned 6 and loves kindergarden! She loves to sing! McDonald’s and Build-a-Bear is the perfect way to spend an afternoon!

Tiffany is only three and has decided that vegetables aren’t necessary! Quite honestly, salsa and chips are much better! She is lovable and giggly and is happy by her daddy’s side! And Ellie…. “petite puddin’ pie” will soon be celebrating her first birthday!
