She says….He makes me laugh. Alot. I adore spending time with him. Friday nights are movie nights and we love to travel….Cape May, Disney World, Stone Harbor. Tim is easy-going, hardworking, and ambitious. He makes me so happy and I cannot imagine life without him!

He says…Alison is one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. I love her sense of humor….she is the perfect compliment to me. We enjoy spending as much time together as possible. Even if we are just running errands, she makes me happy when she is by my side. I am looking forward to our future together….starting new traditions, traveling, and living life.

Meet this beautiful couple, Alison and Tim.

Looking back over the past few years, there are certain folks that played and continue to play an important role in my photography journey. Alison’s father, Bill is one of them. I purchased my camera bodies from him at Lee’s Camera Center. He answered my naive questions such as….what does this button do, anyway?!!” Depth of field, ummm?!! I was honored (and quite nervous) when he asked if I would be willing to take his daughter’s engagement photos. =) It was an honor and delight to work with this kind family.

Romping in the field. Laughter. Overcast skies. Love and ease.

Jeremy and Grace are getting married in just a few short days. I know the wedding will be so them and so perfect.

Grace and Jeremy brought almost all the props without any direction from me! Yaaay…I was thrilled how they caught the vision for their shoot and ran with it! =)

I love that they “got” this image below. I have seen images using props like this and always wanted to try it myself!

Grace = Beautiful bride!

So she would slip into shorts, don sneakers, and pull her hair into a ponytail and head to the rec center. It was a job that had great perks. For one, the members. Every day she would watch the clock until he arrived. You see, he came every day after work to work out. And well, she noticed.

Goodness, he was cute. His blue eyes and great smile..well, they grabbed her. There was no going back. =)

She told me, “He is sweet and completely genuine…always putting my needs before his. I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone other than Tom. People always told me…when you meet your soul-mate, you JUST KNOW it’s them you will spend the rest of your life with. They are absolutely right.”

I love Kiki. Like, really. This engagement shoot was so fun. They are planning a gorgeous wedding for spring.

My kind of girl, Kiki mentioned loving props. She supplied all the props and I was in heaven! =)

Their wedding colors are canary yellow and raincloud gray…perfection.

These guys were so fun to work with…

Laura says, “Dan is my best friend and love of my life. He is strong, caring, a great leader…and I think really funny. He always makes me smile and somehow, makes me a better person. He is an amzing man that I never want to be without. What can I say…I think he is incredible!”

Dan says, “Laura is awesome. She is carefree, easy-going, likes to have fun, and loves God. She helps me let loose and go a little crazy. I love her goofy personlaity.

She is strong willed and independent. And I love her eyes. =)”

They both plan on pursuing their education…Laura in Occupational Therapy and Dan in Counseling/Clinical Psychology.

They are planning their big day for August. Unfortunately I was not able to be part of their day. =( I know it will be a beautiful day.

She says, “Aaron is outgoing and kind. Because of this he knows people everywhere we go, everywhere. He is a hard worker and has the biggest heart.”

Tiffany is more reserved and sees the world in black and white. She is content with a cup of tea and a good book.

They love spending time together…..outdoors, cooking, talking about their days and life.

Everybody knew it before they did. They teased Tiffany that Aaron had a crush on her. It started with him giving her little gifts, going out of his way to talk to her, and then dinner invitations. She turned him down for a year. Finally she agreed and four months later she agreed to forever.

Aaron and Tiffany are planning their big day for New Years Eve!

The engagement session was on Aaron’s home farm.

Brittany loves that Zac is always up for a good time.

But his serious side melts her heart…this is when they dream about their future together.

Zac loves that Brittany is his girl and loves everything about her…her kindness, her honesty, and her willingness to give to others.

Zac and Brittany delight in playing with their son Owen, taking walks, watching movies, and enjoying fine food…pizza and wings.

Hey folks…..Derrick and Joanna are looking forward to this fall. Weddings plans are being made!

Joanna asked if I would take their engagement photos. I was more than happy…

Because the wedding is in the fall, Joanna wanted a shoot that has fall colors.

She did a great job with this.  The location she choose included a quaint church, an old barn, and an overgrown meadow.

The wedding colors…orange, yellow, and brown were brought in with the flowers and outfits.

Joanna warned me that Derrick doesn’t love having his pictures taken. He endured. Smile.

Joanna is….well, just as sweet as can be.

The motto for their wedding is “The best is yet to come.”

On the farm, on the farm…

What a better way to meet than showing cows at the country fair?!!

Today Jennie loves that he can make her smile even when with all her might, she wants to be mad at him.

Matt loves that he can talk about anything with his girl. He is happiest when she is by his side and loves that they share the same interests and goals.

Side by side is best, after all.

It may be working on the farm, showing cows, hanging with family and friends, or line-dancing with their boots on foot!

And they can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives side by side!
